PET PHOTO ID OPPORTUNITY

To insure your pet's safety, the Village of Chebanse will be taking pictures of animals to keep in the Village file.  Please remember there is a leash law in the Village for animals.  If they are out, they should be on a leash.

However, we do understand that on occasion, an animal will get lose.

Stop by the Village Maintenance Shed at 228 Walnut St during the following times.

January 20th from 9 am to 4 pm, or

January 21st from 8 am to 12 noon

A picture will be taken and owner information recorded for the Village to keep on file.

If you are unable to make it on those days and are able to provide a picture to the Village along with owner name, address and phone, it can be emailed to: maintenance@chebanseillinois.org 

LEAF BAG PICK UP WILL BEGIN WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4, 2012 AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2012. 

Bags can be purchased at the Village Office for $1.00 a bag.  Only Kankakee Sanitary bags will be picked up.

BURN DATES:  1ST & 3RD FULL WEEKENDS OF EACH MONTH.  NEXT BURN DATES ARE:

Friday, Jan 20th & Saturday January 21st

Friday, Feb 3rd & Saturday Feb 4th, and Fri Feb 17th & Saturday Feb 18th

Friday, Mar 2nd & Saturday Mar 3rd and Fri Mar 16th & Saturday Mar 17th

Maintenance Personnel will be doing random smoke testing throughout the Village in the near future.  This is to insure no one is hooked up to the sanitary sewer illegally.  Hooking up a sump pump, down spouts, etc only ends up costing you the Village resident more. 

NO DUMPING ALLOWED -

It is illegal to dump anything at the American Legion Park.
